Garmin-Chipotle’s clean Tour promise deserves praise.

Not long ago, we wrote about the Garmin-Chipotle Cycling team sponsorship deal and it’s commitment to be free from the drugs and blood doping that’s tarnished the Tour de France for far too long. Well, Jonathan Vaughters and the team he started 5 years ago, decked out in argyle, finished Le Tour clean. Bonnie D. Ford writes about this team’s mission accomplished here for ESPN. An unbelievable feat these days: making a promise and sticking to it. This is a case study that’s written itself for any would-be sponsor. Commit, believe and support. Congrats boys.
